Acceptable Use Policy
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do on https://arinessy.com. It is part of our Terms and Conditions and binds everyone who uses the Site, whether or not you make a purchase.
1. What we sell
ARINESSY sells new women’s apparel direct to consumers in Australia and New Zealand — dresses, tops, knitwear, skirts, trousers and matching sets. We run no marketplace and we host no third-party sellers.
We will not sell, and will not accept orders for, anything on our payment providers’ prohibited or restricted lists. This includes counterfeit or replica goods, unauthorised branded goods, adult products, weapons, tobacco or nicotine products, prescription items, and any item that requires a licence we do not hold.
2. Acceptable use
You may browse the Site, open an account, buy for your own personal use, and share links to our pages.
3. You must not
- Use the Site for anything unlawful, or in breach of Australian law or the law of the place where you are.
- Order using a payment method you are not authorised to use, or give false billing or delivery details.
- Try card testing — running sequences of card numbers to find valid ones. We watch for this, block it automatically, and report it to our payment providers and to law enforcement.
- Misuse promotions: opening multiple accounts to reuse a first-order code, generating or trading codes, or reselling gift cards.
- Buy for commercial resale, or place bulk or speculative orders, without our written agreement.
- Misuse the returns policy — for example wearing garments and sending them back as new (“wardrobing”), or returning nearly every order again and again.
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or copy content, prices or images in a systematic way, or use automated tools to reach the Site beyond normal browsing.
- Reproduce our photography, copy, marks or designs elsewhere without written permission.
- Introduce malware, try to gain unauthorised access, probe or test the Site’s security, or interfere with its availability.
- Impersonate any person, or misstate your connection to ARINESSY.
- Post reviews or messages that are false, defamatory, obscene, hateful, harassing, or that infringe another person’s rights or include their personal information.
- Send unwanted commercial messages to us or to other users.
4. Reviews and user content
If you post a review or other content, you must have purchased the product and the review must reflect your genuine opinion. We do not pay for reviews and we do not take down reviews simply because they are critical. We may remove content that breaches this policy or the law.
When you post content you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Site alongside the product. You keep ownership of what you post.
5. Security research
If you think you have found a security vulnerability, tell us privately at [email protected] with the subject line “Security”. Do not access other people’s data, do not run denial-of-service or automated scanning against the Site, and give us a reasonable period to fix the issue before disclosing it. We will not take action against researchers who follow this.
6. What we do if this policy is breached
Depending on the seriousness we may: issue a warning; cancel and refund an order; refuse future orders; suspend or close your account; withdraw access to promotions or to change-of-mind returns; block your IP address; report the matter to our payment providers, to a regulator or to the police; and take legal action to recover loss.
Nothing in this policy affects your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Reporting a breach
To report content or behaviour that breaches this policy, email [email protected] with the page address and a description of the issue. For intellectual property complaints, include proof of ownership and the specific material concerned.
8. Payment provider policies
Transactions on this Site are also governed by the acceptable use policies of our payment providers:
9. Changes and contact
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date shows when it last changed. Questions: [email protected], or WESTVERTEX LTD, 1/10 Princes Street, Turramurra NSW 2015, Australia.
