Wear the light.
ARINESSY makes considered clothing for women for the occasions that call for it — the meeting, the dinner, the wedding, the plain Tuesday when you still want to feel composed. Muted colour, clean lines, cloth that keeps its shape after the tenth wear.
The name joins aria and ease. It is the whole idea: clothing that carries you lightly and lets you be seen, rather than asking to be looked at.
Our Sydney store
We work from our store in Sydney, NSW. Every piece is chosen, checked and packed here, and each order leaves Australia within 1–2 business days. There is no warehouse in between — which is why we can tell you plainly when a style runs small, and why a colour that sells through often does not come back.
We design for how people actually dress here — one outfit that has to carry from morning to evening. So we make pieces that sit well under a coat, that look considered without effort, and that do not ask for a whole new wardrobe around them.
What we make
Dresses, tops, knitwear, skirts, trousers and matching sets — in sizes AU 6 to AU 16. Small runs, not deep stock.
Every style is shown with its own photography and a clear description of the cut and how it wears. Where a style runs small or has no give, the product page says so. We would rather you order one size that fits than two that do not.
How we work
- Small runs. Limited quantities instead of deep stock. Less waste, less discounting.
- Honest photography. Product images are not retouched to alter a body’s shape or a garment’s drape.
- Honest fit notes. Where a style runs small or large, we say so on the product page.
- Unconditional returns. 30 days, no reason required, as long as the piece returns undamaged. Fit is hard to judge on a screen and we know it.
- Answered messages. A person answers within 1 business day, and live chat is staffed during store hours.

Sizing and fit
Our Size Guide converts between AU, US, UK and EU and lists body measurements in centimetres. If you sit between sizes or are unsure, message us with your usual size and the style you are considering — we will give you a straight answer, including “this one will not work for you”.
